"Basically Garbage" 2010-08-12
By B. Scogin (The Woodlands, TX)
I am not a huge fan of HP Quality, but this replacement cord was complete garbage compared to the HP cord it replaced. I could tell it was poorly constructed as soon as I took it out of the package. I have only had it for about five months. After two or three months there was clearly a short in the adapter plug. I had to twist it around to ensure that it was charging the battery. And today the adapter plug broke right off of the cord. This is standard daily use. I have done nothing above and beyond normal wear and tear. Yes the cord is cheap, but spend a few more and get one that will last.

This is a great charger for my HP DV1000. My other cord broke from use. This has been a great replacement product.

A relative asked me to get this for him that was overseas. I was worried that it would not get here in time before we left, not only did it come on time, but it came 2 days earlier!!

"Never received item or refund" 2010-07-06
By Buyer007
I never received the item. Informed the seller, after waiting over 1 month have yet to receive a refund or hear anything back from them about receiving a refund. This is not at all what I expect from an amazon seller. After getting the run around I purchased from another buyer and recieved the item right away.
