"Not a good battery!!!!" 2010-10-17

Bought this battery thinking it would be good to have so i can use my laptop longer. This was not the case at all. At first it worked fine, it was when it needed to be charged when it became frustrating. It said it was at 100% charge then 5 minutes later it was at 30% then 5 minutes after that it was back to 80%. The following hour it randomly powered off my laptop and that was the last straw. Just returned this garbage!!

I bought an HDX 16 from HP with a similar set of features and accessories. I have had one problem after another, with some components never working at all.

The touch pad was scratched new from the factory.

The hard drive was not connected.

DEAD PIXELS.

The TV tuner has never worked.

The power supply has failed.

Prone to crashing.

HP has TERRIBLE customer service.

All of this was within the first few months of getting the laptop BRAND NEW FROM THE FACTORY, and I am not rough with it at all. This computer proves there is no quality control at HP. Buy a different brand.

I had ordered this battery for my compaq Presario as a back up battery but it didn't work would not charge up.It is supposed to fit the models listed including Compaq Presario CQ50 which is what I have I wrote to the company and a bad review they asked for the numbers on my present battery and they told me I ordered the wrong battery.Iwas refunded the money for the battery after I sent it back. I was very disapointed with the product and would not order from them again. Sorry I think you should ask for more information before you send out a battery less headache also you should recheck your list and make sure that what you list is the correct PC batteries.
